Hello my name is Mia Tamayo, I go to William Seward Elementary.
Earlier this year Holy Cross Church across from my school destroyed the
community garden to make a parking lot. Our 8th grade classes are trying to
convince the priest from the church to stop destroying the garden to make
the parking lot. Our garden has been there for ages, the garden means a lot
to us, a lot of family and friends made so many memories there. Our 8th
grade classes are trying to rebuild the garden. We are wondering if you all
would be nice enough to donate tulip bulbs or anything you prefer that we
could plant in our garden. We are still waiting for an answer from the
priest so we can continue planting hopefully soon. Please, and thank you! I
hope to hear from you soon.
