[Info-distribution] Event info for social media and newsletter - Avondale Gardening Alliance Garden & Agriculture Fair THIS Sunday

Hello CCGA!

Please assist us in getting the news out by posting to social media for our
AGA Fair this Sunday.

>From noon to 5 pm on Sunday August 27th, the community is invited to visit
a number of yards and other locations in a walkable area of East Avondale.
These sites offer demonstrations of an array of agricultural and gardening
skills specifically tailored to urban living.  Start at Concordia at 3300 N
Whipple to get a map.

Then tour the sites to learn about seed saving; eat & learn sprouts;
attract birds & pollinators to your yard; learn homebrewing & growing;
explore and partake in nature based craft and art; discover the benefits of
fermenting foods; learn beekeeping, engage in the children's garden with
nature based activities, hear about benefits & access to the river, and
much more!  Goodies available include flower crowns, home brewed samples,
plants, sprouting supplies, swag, and lots of raffle prizes!

At 5 pm we will bring this community together to celebrate our growing and
thriving hyper-local network of Avondale gardeners, urban farmers, and
sustainable living enthusiasts at Chief O'Neill's lovely garden patio.

The map for the Fair will be finalized just a few days before the event and
then posted to all socials, as well as paper copies at the event's homebase
- Concordia. All are welcome.
