Teachers! Biodiversity Field Trip Grant Applications due Jan. 31

Calling all teachers! There is still time to apply for the Biodiversity Field Trip Grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.If you are teacher – or know someone who is – in any grade level from Pre-K to high school, you can apply to receive up to $1,000 per school ($500 per teacher) for taking students on a field trip to study Illinois’ natural resources. Some examples include visits to nature centers, state parks, forest preserve district sites, museums, and national forests.
