The Cook County Greens would like to invite The Chicago Community Gardeners Association to walk in the Bud Billiken Parade. We will have replicas of our 4 pillars: Grass Roots Democracy, Social Justice, Ecological Wisdom, and Nonviolence. CCGA has been invited to to walk under the Ecological Wisdom pillar to promote the mission of CCGA.

Let’s all join in the Parade and demonstrate our support for that event as well as the effect that Community Gardening is having on the world (starting right here in Chicago!)

The Bud Billiken Parade is Saturday, August 10th and will step off at 10am. It goes from King Drive from Oakwood Blvd. to 55th and Ellsworth Dr.
