Have you had troubles with pests getting to your crops before you can? Learn how to take preventative measures to make sure you do not invite pests or disease in the first place. This workshop will also cover: common vegetable pests in Chicago, their life cycle and how to use sustainable sprays or barriers to control. Common diseases will also be identified. Everyone will do a “scouting” pest and disease walk of the AVI farm site.
