DESCRIPTION:Jana Kinsman is a beekeeper in Chicago who cares for hives all over the city and advocates for pollinator health. In this session we’ll go over the basics of honeybee life\, their role in our food world\, and what it’s like being a beekeeper. We’ll also talk about native pollinators in the Chicago region and how you can help them. As a take-away\, you’ll get to build your own small bee house to take home and put in your yard!
