DESCRIPTION:December 3\, 2016 9 am – 5 pm \nNIU Conference Center\, 8500 E State Street\, Rockford\, IL. \nThere will be general sessions on permaculture and farm-scale energy production\, as well as breakout sessions on both plant and animal topics\, including tomatoes and peppers\, microgreens\, shiitake mushrooms\, raising livestock for fiber\, meat goat production\, and controlling weeds in pastures.
