DESCRIPTION:Hello to All Gardeners\, \nPlease find below the agenda for the Harvest Soiree\, scheduled for Thursday\, September 11th\, at the Upper Pavilion in Memorial Park. This event is open to all community members—please extend this invitation throughout our community. \nThursday\, September 11\, 2025 \n*Event supporting Blue Island Community Gardens (donations are optional and sincerely appreciated) \n5:30 pm – Yoga session led by Michelle Bauer of Nourishing Mind\, Body\, and Soul \n6:00 pm – Light refreshments and appetizers served\, including: \n\nIverson’s mint/lavender lemonade\nBasil and watermelon-infused water\nMint tea\nA limited selection of other beverages\n\nActivities: \n\nGardener’s appetizers\nGuided garden visits\nPhoto booth in the gardens\nBouquet making station featuring arrangements from Bloom Creek Flowers and our community gardens\nSidewalk chalk and additional crafts available for children\n\n7:00 pm – Dinner will be served\, accompanied by acknowledgements and an overview of the Blue Island Community Gardens \n*Culinary presentations by: \n\nM&R Grilling\, presented by Chef Ray Bauer\nChef Elizabeth Canna\nChef Joe O’Meara\nChef Tom Mantel\nChef Joe Leamanczyk\nChef Michelle from Council Oak\n\nAdditionally\, potluck dishes will be provided by our community gardeners and neighbors.
