Here are the details: \n\nWHEN:   Saturday\, June 20\, 2015  from 8:00 a.m. til the plants and seeds are gone\nWHERE:   New Horizons community garden\, 401 S. Central Park\, Chicago (this garden is at the corner of Van Buren and Central Park\, just a block north of the Eisenhower Expressway on the east side of the street)\nWHAT:  the plants include: curly parsley\, flat parsley\, winter savory\, Greek oregano\, French thyme\, sweet marjoram\, basil verde a piccole\, rosemary\, cauliflower romanesco\, Kaitlin cabbage\, ‘Gypsy’ broccoli\, nicotiana ‘fragrant cloud’ and cactus flowering zinnias.  Seeds:  Rattlesnake Master beans and miscellaneous sunflowers. Sacramento at 9:00 next Saturday\, May 9. We will check everyone in starting at nine\, and will distribute the plants at 9:30. Bring a box to carry your plants home\, please! \nOn Saturday May 16\, we will distribute the rest of the seedlings at Embassy Church\, 5848 S. DESCRIPTION:The March 7th CCGA Annual Conference was a great success\, with over 220 community gardeners and friends attending to enjoy a multitude of workshops and exhibitor’s information booths. \nNow\, on into our gardening season!  Our April 11th meeting will start with breakout sessions for the 6 new CCGA committees (Resources\, Membership\, Volunteers\, Development\, Workshops & Education\, and Website & Communication). You are welcome to sit in on one (or more – if you want to split your time) of the sessions. We will all be planning the rest of this calendar year for CCGA and would love your participation. \nAfter this\, the whole group will get together for a brief report from each breakout session. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first ever Spring Seed Swap\, hosted by the UIC Heritage Garden\, at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum. We invite gardeners\, organizations\, and community members in the Chicago area to swap seeds\, learn about seeds\, and meet new gardening friends around the city. We encourage you to bring your own seeds to swap with others! \nThe UIC Heritage Garden seed library is a mobile treasure box full of seeds\, collected from the Heritage Garden\, Jane Addams Hull-House Museum\, and various gardens around the globe.
