In 2021\, Loyola’s Virtual Climate Change Conference\nwill focus on how we can amplify the voices of these young activists. \nFree Registration and conference agenda: \nhttps://www.luc.edu/sustainability/initiatives/climatechangeconference/ \nThis year\, we will be delivering you our signature conference through a\nweek long series of evening events and programming. Each evening\, you can\njoin us and participate in discussion around a variety of topics including: \n– our first-ever Keynote Conversation with youth climate activists Vic\nBarrett and Dejah Powell moderated by WBEZ’s Jerome McDonnell\,\n– an intergenerational conversation between our keynote climate\nactivists and their mentors\,\n– a panel discussion on how climate change is driving displacement\, and\nthe climate migrant’s plight\,\n– a panel on climate advocacy through art featuring local artists\, and\n– a discussion with indigenous youth activists. \nAll events will occur at 6pm during March 15-18th\, 2021.
