Trust all is well.
On the weekend of September 9-10th 2023, in partnership with NOLS, we are
offering a two-day Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course at the Little House of
Glencoe, 690 Birch Rd, Glencoe, IL. Course duration is 16 hours, taught
from 8 am to 5 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
WFA Course Information: Join us in this fun, hands-on introduction to
wilderness medicine. This course is great for people of all experience
levels and is best suited for those who take short trips relatively close
to medical resources, attend summer camps, enjoy weekend family outdoor
activities, or recreate outdoors where EMS response can be expected in a
less timely manner.
Course Approval: This course meets the American Camp Association 2012
Standards and the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid training
requirements.

- *Epinephrine Auto-injector*
Financial aid & Scholarships
This course supports a variety of outside financial aid options:
AmeriCorps, 529 College Savings Plans, and Veterans Benefits (In Wyoming
only). If you are fluent in American Sign Language or Signed Exact English,
you may be eligible to receive a full scholarship for your wilderness
medicine course.
