2nd Chicago Permaculture Convergence: July 22-23, 2023

What is it: This is the second convening of permaculture and sustainable
gardening leaders and those who seek community and to learn more. It is
also an opportunity to make and renew relationships and launch a new cohort
of Permaculture Design Certificate students in a hybrid 6-month class. We
are also launching accessible online permaculture resources to all those
who wish to support our activities to bring food forests into Chicago’s
communities to give us greater food sovereignty. This weekend gives us the
opportunity for hands-on learning to build iconic permaculture garden
features and engaging with our lakeshore’s native habitats. These free
events are sponsored by the Permaculture Institute of Chicago, Chicago
Permaculture Association, and the Windsor Park Community Garden. Attend as
much as you are able of these sessions. Should you decide to go forward
with the Permaculture Institute of Chicago certification course, hours
attending this convergence will count towards your certificate.
