If you're looking for food grade totes for water- I believe The Plant used
to get them from Shulze and Birch- the commercial bakery in bridgeport/back
of the yards- maybe reach out to them? (Schulze and birch)

Hi all,

I received this request below. Please reach out to Pam DeFiglio today, this
eve before 9PM or tomorrow before 10AM if interested in her story.

Hi Amy,

Thanks for being someone I can reach out to to contact about environmental
issues. The Tribune is now looking to talk to someone who, in order to beat
the high egg prices at supermarkets, is considering raising backyard
chickens.

We need to talk to this person today or tomorrow by mid to late morning.

Would you be so kind as to reach out to your environmental network to see
if they know someone? We would need their contact info to call them. (In
case someone asks if they can not give their name, the answer is that we'd
need to use their name and town.)

Thanks so much!

Pam

AUA Seeking Food-grade IBC Totes

Tucker Kelly <water at auachicago.org>: Apr 03 08:26AM -0700

Morning all,

Tucker Kelly with AUA here. In recent weeks we've gotten a few requests for
IBC
tanks <https://www.uline.com/BL_173/IBC-Tanks>. Specifically, we're looking
for food-grade tanks located locally to assist growers with water access.
Often, growers seeking these tanks are those that do not have other methods
of water access (like utility lines, hydrant access, or helpful neighbors).

If you or anyone you know has totes that they are looking to move on from
or if know of a company that is getting rid of these, please connect us.
You can reach me at water at auachicago.org.

Thanks for your time.
