It's high season for gardeners, so rather than take you out of those
gardens ripe with tomatoes and peppers, the Communications team is sending
out this motion, rather than calling for a zoom meeting. Please return
email with a *vote of YES/NO by 5 pm Thursday.*

*" In order to respond to the needs and requirements of community gardens
which are non-commercial and neighborhood growing organizations, as
pertains to the city water hydrant policy on the hydrant cap assembly, back
flow preventer and hydrant keys & installation and inspection, CCGA
supports a survey of gardens affected by this new policy and advocates for
policy changes and resources for those gardens in a cooperative manner."*

Discussion will take place between now and Thursday on this motion. We see
this as an inclusive way to move from competing for resources to sharing
them.

Here is a link to the survey which will be sent to our community gardens.
You may fill out the survey.
