FYI
I have scheduled the CCGA Zoom room for 10 AM tomorrow, Tuesday, to meet with Lauren Adejumo, the Lead Learning Designer with The Academy Group. She is someone who requested how CCGA might partner with them around their 5th grade summer social justice course: Food Access and Equity.
Anyone is welcome to join, but the room has been scheduled. Amy just forwarded a request from Ms Vera Watson today to see if we can get her looped into some of the opportunities that are available for community gardens in Austin. She is planning some educational events
We receive these requests for CCGA participation often enough now that responding to them must be a concerted effort from all of our teams. Mamie and I have had to turn away requests with not enough turnaround time, but we have a wealth of contacts to share in UIExt, Master Gardeners, and more and we did refer people. The requests come to CCGA with specific needs and dates, but the overall The zoom tomorrow will be an opportunity to begin the discussion with what CCGA can undertake.
This is just a first step. If you can't attend or don't want to just yet, no problem, but we need to take this up in the committees that can offer resources, send advisers, and in the coordinating committee to pull it all together.

Hi everyone,
Hope you’re all doing well! Since it’s past noon, could we set a new time for a virtual check in? I’m pretty flexible the next few days, am in Michigan visiting my mom.

Good morning,I hope everyone had a nice weekend and is doing well. I'm unfortunately going to have to cancel our on-site walk through today. I won't be on site today to host and since we're closed, the group wouldn't be able to come by without me there.
I'm happy to either try to rearrange another day for the group to come or I can take a video of the space and share out when I'm back on-site.
Apologies for the late notice and change of plans.
Mattie
