[Communications] AMFM Seeds Event June 1

Hi Chicago Community Gardens Association,

We wanted to invite you and your community garden or organization to
participate in our *Seeds *event on June 1st at Austin Town Hall from
12-4pm as a part of our Feast Festival Season with the Chicago Park
District's Night out in the Parks program.

This will be our second year hosting Feast, and we utilize arts and culture
to cultivate community and bring awareness to a large issue facing many
people in this city, while also giving local emerging artists a platform to
support a cause and share their work on a larger stage in the city they
live, thrive and create in. The event is free and open to the public and
centered around addressing issues of food equity and hunger in the city's
food deserts through arts and culture. Our *Seeds *event is centered around
highlighting local community gardens, markets, organizations and
initiatives that support this cause. We want people to know where they can
get healthy and fresh food, or resources when they are in need.

In 2018, through a series of festival pop ups over the course of the
summer, we held a food drive, a city wide community potluck, and had our
feast finale at Douglas Park with amazing local talent and even a fashion
show. We received a lot of positive press from The Chicago Tribune, Red
Eye, The Chicago Reader and more.

This year we hope to continue this mission seasonally to continue the
conversation year round, because as you know, hunger is year round. We
would love to partner with you and invite your organization to have a table
and offer resources or a food market at our *Seeds *event on June 1 this
year free of charge. We have attached our deck with more information about
