[Communications] Short statement on coronavirus for website

Hi communications team, Gina, Cordia and Angela,

Here’s a draft of a short statement we could use as our ‘official’ response in case anyone asks about the status of the conference. I pulled the info from the CPS pdf that May sent last night. We could include this on the conference web page. 

We care deeply about the health and well‑being of our attendees, presenters, support team, exhibitors, and community. CCGA is closely monitoring the evolving situation regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). At this time, we plan to move forward with the 8th Annual Conference as planned. We are in communication with our event host, Whitney Young Magnet High School, and will continue to follow the official guidance from the Chicago Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). If you have any questions or concerns about attending the conference, please reach out to communications at chicagocommunitygardens.org.
