Hi,

I am an international student from Pakistan, studying in rural sociology at University of Missouri, Columbia. I am researching on acculturation of immigrant Muslim women who participate in community gardening. Is it possible to put me in touch with someone who fits my criteria from your community gardening networks? I will really appreciate the lead. I know there is a huge Muslim community in Chicago. I am attaching the recruitment flyer and the consent form that can be passed on to potential interviewees.

My research is a phenomenological study using interviews of about 15 to 20 women.

The purpose of this study is to understand how Muslim women who have moved to America from other countries adjust to life in America. This study focuses on the Muslim women who work in community gardens. How do the community gardens help (or not help) the Muslim women in adjusting to life in America? The study will look at the relationships, networks, skills that help Muslim women in regard to community garden and adjusting in America. Please let me know . Thank you,

Regards,
Anadil
