Mountains of plants, 6000 of them in small and large pots and trays piled
high on trucks arrived Friday morning for gardeners to choose from at CCGA
Resources Perennial Distribution September 29. Scott Byron & Co assembled
and delivered the plants, and other area growers and landscape companies
donated so generously. The photos give you a better feeling of the
mountains!

The autumn perennial distribution is one of the biggest for the Resources
Commmittee . Volunteers were up to the task of unloading an abundance (to
put it mildly) of material. Resources thanks the wonderful volunteers who
sorted, and sorted, and sorted the massive amount.The Resources Committee
also thanks The Contained Garden and Green With Ivy for donating over 200
beautiful tropical and seasonal plants for the September 29 distribution.
Beautiful Mandevilla hibiscus, Rex begonias, ferns, mums, and ornamental
kale were a big hit with gardeners. All who attended got a beautiful treat.
