La granja regenerativa (The Regenerative Garden)

En este programa bilingüe, el experto en agricultura urbana David Toledo
guiará a los participantes sobre cómo crear una granja regenerativa. A

In this bilingual program, urban agriculture expert David Toledo will guide
participants in how to create a regenerative garden. Through hands-on
demonstrations of preparing beds for the winter and outlining the steps for
nourishing soil for the season to come, participants will learn to create a
long-term plan for a garden that flourishes year after year.
Cómo conservar semillas (How to Save Seeds)

En este curso bilingüe en español e inglés, el horticultor nateo carreno
demostrará técnicas de conservación de semillas, enseñará las historias y
los relatos que apoyan los métodos y explicará la importancia de la
soberanía de las semillas. En este programa, los participantes:
- Practican técnicas para guardar semillas para plantas comestibles
- Aprenden formas de comprobar la viabilidad de las semillas
- Aprenden cómo iniciar la siembra de semillas
- Aprenden el significado histórico y cultural de guardar semillas
- Comprenden la importancia ecológica de guardar semillas.

In this bilingual Spanish and English course, horticulturist nateo carreno
will demonstrate seed saving techniques, teach the stories and histories
that inform the methods, and explain the importance of seed sovereignty. In
this program participants will:
- Practice techniques to save seeds for edible plants
- Learn ways to check for seed viability
- Learn how to start seeds
- Learn the historical and cultural significance of saving seeds
- Understand the ecological importance of saving seeds.
As the growing season comes to an end, this workshop will help you tackle
one of many important tasks when preparing your garden for winter.
