July 8th Beneficial Insects Workshop Was Well Attended

The CCGA Education team brought an important and necessary topic to gardeners and presenter Allen Lawrance from the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum hit all the sweet spots of gardening with and for beneficial insects. Folks were clearly interested in the very focused presentation. The book table was set up with copies of informative reading, colorful guides full of photos, and some recently published material. Allen brought two glass-topped display boxes that held native butterflies as well.
