Bulb Distribution Was Last for 2017

Bulbs! On Saturday October 21, the CCGA Resources Committee distributed 5600 allium, tulip and daffodil bulbs to over seventy Chicago community gardens. The Resources Committee purchased the bulbs using funds previously received from the gardeners in the form of registration fees, and the photo shows the delivery of multiple crates,The bulbs were sorted, repacked, and tucked into grocery sacks with a booklet of bulb information prepared by the Committee. A nice way to top off the growing season! The packed bulbs on arrival shown below.
