Join us on April 29 at 6pm for Sharing Notes: A Continued Community Gardeners Discussion

Thursday, April 29 from 6-7 pm, on Zoom, Free, $15 suggested donation

With Chicago Community Garden Leaders May Toy of Skinner Park Advisory Council, Kasey Eaves of Montrose Metra Community Gardens, and Paula Acevedo of ElPaseo Community Garden. Moderated by Breanne Heath, Senior Program Specialist in Gardening at the Chicago Park District.

The panel discussion from these experienced community gardeners at our 8th Annual Virtual Conference on March 20 was not only thoroughly enjoyed, but the panelists were praised for their honesty, openness, and frankness. You told us, “It could have gone on forever.” Well, we’ve heard you and this outstanding panel is coming together again for a one-hour Zoom event on Thursday, April 29!

The panelists will again share insights from their years of “in the trenches” experience covering many facets of community gardening, from managing gardens to a whole new range of topics including the role gardens can play in bigger-picture advocacy work. Don’t miss this program!
