On Sunday, August 25 from 12 to 5pm the agriculture fair will take place at 12 locations, roughly in the footprint of Belmont to Roscoe, Kedzie to California.

Community members open up their businesses and backyards to host their neighbors for an event that is probably best described as an educational, interactive garden walk. Our goal is to demonstrate to our community that everyone can benefit from participating in urban agriculture by offering a broad range of topics suitable to the apartment dweller, homeowner, and small business owner. Our aim is to inspire and empower our neighbors to get involved in sustainable agricultural practices by showcasing the unique and comprehensive network of support we have assembled for new and experienced Avondale “farmers” and makers.
