Annual CDOT Placemaking and Landscape Maintenance Seminar

April 18, 2015 @ 9:15 am - 12:30 pm

Free

On behalf of the City of Chicago, the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be hosting the Annual Placemaking and Landscape Maintenance Seminar on Saturday, April 18th at the Chicago Center for Green Technology. Throughout Chicago, the City’s greening and placemaking initiatives including streetscapes, medians, people spots, people plazas, and traffic-calming, help improve the quality of life and add value to our neighborhoods. The key to the success of these green spaces is the partnership between the City and the Community. This seminar is for those currently wanting to learn more about Chicago’s placemaking efforts, are maintaining neighborhood improvements in the public way, or those who love gardening and want to hear the latest news on plants, planting techniques, and best practices. Simultaneous presentations will allow attendees a choice of focus. For more detailed information, read the current agenda.

While this seminar is free and open to the public, there is limited seating and pre-registration is recommended. Please direct any questions or RSVP your attendance by April 16th using the contact form.
