The is part of the Chicago Demonstration Gardens project.  This is a collaborative effort by groups in Back of the Yards and Woodlawn to create various types of demonstration gardens.  Types of gardens will include high-impact, low-maintenance flowerbeds, native plant species, pollinator habitats and edible landscapes.  We need experienced gardeners to help with consulting on these project.  Even if you are not nearby these locations, we would welcome your assistance to select appropriate plants, etc.  For more information or to volunteer, please contact Bill Morrisett, morrisett@midwestcyber.com.
