Reimbursable conservation practices like Micro-Irrigation Water Management Planning, Forestry Management Planning, Conservation Cover Planting and High Tunnels are now available to small scale urban growers. 

Extension educators, along with Contemporary Farmer Daviid Toledo, will discuss the conservation practices implemented at A DePaul College Prep; and speak of their contract experience with the NRCS program.

We’re thrilled to welcome Joseph Bridges and Alicia Lozano, the USDA NRCS Soil Conservationists for Cook County who will be on site to meet farmers and answer your questions about applying for these reimbursement programs.
