Slow Food Chicago/Growing Power Urban Orchard Crop Mob

Come help Slow Food Chicago plant Growing Power’s urban orchard on Saturday, July 16th from 1-4pm.

We’ll be planting apple, pear and paw paw trees, as well as raspberry and rose bushes at Growing Power’s South Chicago Farm located at the corner of 89th Street and Mackinaw Avenue in Clara Schaffer Park.

Please bring a water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes to the farm for volunteering.
