CCGA Receives Generous Plant Donation from Macy’s Flower Show

The CCGA Resources Committee asked, and was granted permission, to visit Macy’s after hours earlier this month to pick up almost eight hundred tropical plants that had been part of the Macy’s Spring Flower Show. Our thanks go to R. Todd Pope, Project Manager and Creative Director of Ireland-Gannon Associates, Inc. (and the design genius behind the gorgeous Macy’s show) and to Macy’s for this generous donation. The Resources Committee has already distributed part of the donation (see our report on Spring Flowers Galore), and will be distributing many more “Macy’s” plants at the Vegetable Seedling Distribution on May 16.
