Veggie Bingo is Back at the Hideout!

Once again, NeighborSpace, The Hideout, and Soup & Bread are partnering to present Veggie Bingo. Every Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8pm, local celebrity callers will lead bingo at the Hideout.  Bingo fans will compete for a cornucopia of prizes from Chicago stalwarts like Big Shoulders Coffee, Local Foods, Dusty Groove Records, Improv Olympic, Mana Food Bar, The Book Cellar, Music Box Theatre, Olivia’s Market, Spinning J Bakery, Virtue Cider, and more.

Each week, all proceeds benefit Chicago community gardens and garden organizations, starting with the Chicago Community Gardening Association on June 15th, see the entire list here.

The Hideout is easy to find and there is free street parking. It is at 1354 W. Wabansia, just east of Elston Avenue and two blocks north of North Avenue. The Hideout is just a few blocks northwest of the big Home Depot on North Avenue.

There is no fixed cost or cover and bingo cards are $4 a piece or 3 for $10. Games run 5:30-8pm so bring some food and have a fun night supporting Chicago community gardens!

So wait, this is at a bar but kids are welcome (and there are always lots of kids), as long as they are supervised by a parent or guardian!
