New Horizons Community Garden Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary

On Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 New Horizons Community Garden held a get-together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the garden! Present and former leaders of the garden spoke about its history; shown here are three we could capture (from left to right) Celeste Groff, Erma Purnell, and Joan Gerig.

There was a nice turnout on a beautiful day for the New Horizons 30th anniversary party and a table of harvested vegetables from the garden to share with guests delighted all. An especially luscious and delicious harvest of tomatoes was a hit. Congratulations, New Horizons!
